When I first read about this, the first thing I thought about was the old S/A pianos from the late 80's. I am not a pianoplayer myself so i could never justify the expense but i can imagine that this must be attractive for a lot of professional players. I own Pianoteq and the V-Piano beats it by a large margin soundwise, works as a standalone product and comes with a magnificent keyboard. That becomes especially obvious when the pedal is down. The V-Piano is able to recreate the interaction between the notes that are being played. When you play it you will feel/hear the difference between that and a sampled piano. The V-Piano doesnt use any samples-its totally modelbased.
